The TD-20S from Roland pulls out all the stops. The core of the system is the TD-20 sound module, which offers over 500 sounds. The stylish V-Pads deliver highly realistic playing feel and response, while the V-Cymbals move like the real thing. The included VH-12 high-hat supports all positions and has full motion capability.

Realistic dynamics are augmented by the V-Edit feature, which lets you model the drums you want to play by size, composition, tuning, and more. A full suite of effects, multiple in/outs, and expansion capacity complete the comprehensive package. The stand provides a sleek, ergonomic look that is easily adjusted. The tubing is hollow to allow you to pass cables through the stand for a clean look.

Mesh V-Pads
    V-Pads by Roland are comfortable, natural-feeling trigger pads with a realistic rebound, so you can play the way you're supposed to, instead of having to "muscle" the fast parts.

V-Editing
    The V-Editing feature multiplies your sonic possibilities many times over, by letting you decide the size, material composition, and other parameters of the virtual drums you are playing. So the snare, for example, can be a 12-inch wood model with lots of sizzle, or a 8-inch brass model with the snares off.

Powerhouse Module
    The TD-20 module is absolutely packed with over 500 drum sounds arranged into 50 editable kits, and eight percussion sets. The integrated sequencer can draw on any six of 262 backing instrument sounds. Cymbals ring out to their natural conclusion, and there's no more "machine-gun" effect, thanks to 64-note polyphony. Effects can be optimized with each pad's individual EQ and compressor, 14 types of effects, reverb and chorus for the backing parts, and Ambience settings that let you determine what "room" you're in. A Compact Flash slot lets you carry MIDI files and drum samples to and from other devices.

Real-Feel Cymbals
    Both the VH-12 high-hat and the V-Cymbals included with this kit behave just like acoustic cymbals, including the capacity for cymbal swells and catches. All high-hat positions, from closed to fully open, are supported.

Natural Dynamics
    The V-Pads and TD-20 module cooperate to provide you with the same dynamic variation found on an acoustic set. The snare and cymbal sounds vary depending on the speed and pressure of your strokes, and the toms feature rimshot capability.

Ergonomic Stand
    A drummer's reach forms a circle, not a square, and the MDS-20BK stand takes this into account. Highly stable and easy both to adjust and expand, this stand can hide your cables within it, for a streamlined appearance.

Monitor Amplifier Included
    The included PM-30 personal monitor amplifier is a compact and portable 2.1 monitoring system that has been carefully tuned to work with a V-Drums system. The satellites can mount easily to the drum stand, and the subwoofer has handles and casters installed for easy transportation.
