Geographically, the Central Highlands of Vietnam is an area of stunning natural beauty which extends from the Cat Tien National Park in the south as far as Quang Nam in the north. For practical purposes most visitors to the region will travel between Dalat in the south and Kon Tum in the north.
Day 1: Arrive Hue (_ /_ /D)
Arrive Hue on afternoon flight. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Have dinner. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Hue.
Day 2: Hue (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a morning cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a setting of gardens and lakes. Have lunch.
Afternoon, visit royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and Emperor Khai Dinh. Enjoy the dinner cruise on the perfume river and the Hues folk songs. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Hue.
Day 3: Hue - Hoi An (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, the ruins of the Purple Forbidden City and visit Dong Ba market. Lunch at local restaurant.
Drive toward Hoi An (about 4 hours). Drive along Lang Co beach and through Hai Wan Pass to Danang city. Continue toward Hoi An, which was originally a Cham seaport influenced down centuries by traders from various cultures. On the way stop at the Marble Mountains and Cham Museum, home to Vietnam's largest collection of Cham treasures. The charm of Hoi An makes it one of the most delightful places to visit in Vietnam. Have dinner. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Hoi An.
Day 4: Hoi An (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Stroll around the town, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Free at leisure in the afternoon or swimming at Cua Dai beach. Lunch & dinners at restaurant. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An - Kontum (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive on the road No 14 to Kontum, stop for visit Charly hill, Phoenix Airfield. Check in the hotel. Afternoon, visit the Wooden Church, Bana ethnic village.
Enjoy the "Gong" show performed by Bana people in the Kon Ktu village while sipping "Can" spirit fermented in the porcelain Jar. Lunch & dinners at restaurant. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Kontum.
Day 6: Kontum - Pleiku (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Kontum Market and old bishopric office building. Drive on the road No 14 to Pleiku for visit to An Khe base and Dektu Village. Lunch & dinners at restaurant. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Pleiku.
Day 7: Pleiku - Buon Me Thuot (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Buon Me Thuot (or called Ban Me Thuot) - mountainous city in the west highland, home of elephant in Vietnam. On the way visit rubber, coffee and pepper plantations. Visit Buon Me Thuot Museum, Ban Don village. Evening enjoy CONG-CHIENG music and dance Festival of minority people. Lunch & dinners at restaurant. Overnight in Buon Me Thuot.
Day 8: Buon Me Thuot - Nha Trang (B/L/_)
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Buon Me Thuot for Tuy Hoa, pass by To Na and along Ba River. Stop over to visit Dong Cam dam. Have lunch. Choosing option tour visit Nha Trang and to Ho Chi Minh city.
